(VIDEO) 2011: SHERIFF DEPUTIES REFUSE TO EVICT 103-YEAR-OLD WOMAN; GOOD TO HEAR

It was good to hear that some Sheriff Deputies have a heart.  During a recent eviction visit, they refused to remove a 103-year-old woman and her 80-year-old daughter from their home.  After falling behind on their mortgage payments, for a home they lived in 53-years, their bank served them with an eviction notice.  It appears even seniors can be foreclosed on.

Upon arriving and finding the elderly women in their Atlanta home the deputies just could not proceed.  It would have been a very sad day if they would have thrown them out of their home.  No one deserves to be put through this process, but especially not our seniors.

In this economy, millions have lost their homes and it has been reported that there is 5 years worth of foreclosures on the horizon.  If you have requested a loan modification and have been refused, a short sale may be a better option.   Watch the short sale video and feel free to contact our team of short sale specialists at 312.475.4548,  if you are considering one in the Chicagoland area.

  1. if the greedy banks want there money just work out a reverse loan agreement- unless there are other family members who want to keep the home… but man this world has gotta change…. and age is not the only situation that needs to have some humanity applied.
